Starting over… May 30, 2006
Posted by chris in : Uncategorized , trackbackWell spring is here (not in Luxembourg where its pissing down again, but it was 34 in France at the weekend…) and I still don’t have a drysuit. I managed to get an Otter Ultimate off ebay at a great price, but it is a little too small for me. In an act of great unkindness it fits the missus quite well (although she is a little embarrassed at the wee-wee zip).
Our tanks are finally back from the testers after some 5 weeks. Good job we had no other kit. The dive shop has some Scubapro Mk11s but we have been waiting for the DIN inserts. All being well this week should at least see us with the basics. I’ve got a drysuit I bought that’s a little big for me and I am thinking that I will try out my new Airspeed press book on drysuit repairs to see how easy it is to alter a suit.
So all being well we will be diving in June. The first trip will probably be in the UK to combine with a visit to my Dad who is having a cateract removed soon. After that I really will try to put some trip reports up about other European destinations…. Sorry if you’re waiting (not that you are no-one ever reads this do they???)
