YDeSAC
For totally selfish reasons I have decided to start an Internet based club and BSAC branch. Although its called YDeSAC its nothing to do with Yorkshire Divers although that superb forum is hoped to be the main meeting place for the membership.
Membership is a couple of stamps to cover postage plus BSAC subs. This is cheaper than joining BSAC Direct and will give several advantages too. Firstly members can get together and dive with one another and secondly we can organise training. If you need training at Ocean Diver or Sport Diver level its best to do this with a school. If you want training from a school at any higher level you have to belong to BSAC so it might as well be this branch!
The branch is a converted physical branch, Le Bourg (branch 2411). Our UK base is Poole.

At this point in time its very much “lets see how it goes”. So its up to everyone else to put their ideas forward. One possible thing I might like to do is to use it as a vehicle for cave-diving, something the BSAC seems to overlook. If you are interested in this activity please sign up.
